The Harold H. Bate Study Abroad Scholarship - Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences

This scholarship is available to students with majors within the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences that are from Craven, Jones, or Pamlico counties. Scholarships may be used for study abroad programs over the spring semester or full academic year.

This scholarship requires that each applicant provide one (1) letter of reference. This letter should come from a faculty member within your major that can speak to your skills, abilities, activities, and/or community involvement. Applicants should let the reference provider know to expect an email invitation to provide the reference and make sure they file the letter prior to the scholarship deadline.

Students interested in studying abroad in the SPRING semester should apply to this opportunity.

Award Varies: Funding will range from $4,000-$8,000 for semester/full year programs.
