Daniel Brock

Begun in 2010 by Daniel Brock, CRNA, RN, this scholarship was created to provide support for students enrolled in the Nurse Anesthesia Program. This scholarship has become the flagship where the department’s graduates contribute on an ongoing basis. It is now fully endowed.

Tammy Duval was a Greenville native, who died June 25, 2008 from domestic violence. She worked in Pitt County Memorial Hospital’s cardiac unit for two years, volunteered as an EMT with Eastern Pines Rescue Squad, and attended graduate school for ECU’s Nurse Anesthesia program.

The student must have academic merit, clinical excellence, completed three semesters of the nurse anesthesia program, including one semester of clinical, and any other criteria determined appropriate by the Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program.
