Mrs. Julie Hicks Vurnakes

Established in 2011 by Mrs. Julie Hicks Vurnakes, this scholarship was created to provide support to students within ECU’s College of Nursing. The full-time students must be enrolled in the alternate entry program, but if this doesn’t apply, the scholarship can be awarded to any enrolled full-time nursing student. The student needs to display a desire and love for the nursing profession, and it should be based on financial need and academic merit.
