Ms. Elizabeth "Betty" Berryhill

Established in 2010 by the Nurse Midwifery Program at the College of Nursing, this scholarship’s intent was to create a scholarship for students enrolled in the Nurse Midwifery Program at the ECU College of Nursing. Ms. Elizabeth “Betty” Berryhill died Sunday, August 22, 2010. She was a native of London, Ontario, Canada, and had been a resident of Greenville for the past forty years. She received her nursing degree from the University of Western Ontario and a master’s degree in Public Health from UNC-Chapel Hill. Betty was a medical missionary, practicing in South America for years. Betty devoted her life to public health and serving people in the medical and mission field.
