Samanage is an IT cloud-based company located in Cary, NC. This company created The Samanage Success Scholarship for Computer Science at ECU in December 2018. The company began this scholarship as a result of their longstanding and strong Social Responsibility program.

From the company’s initial outreach to ECU: “We have a longstanding and strong Social Responsibility program inspired by our CEO’s personal and professional core values. We are now looking to impact the future of Computer Science and IT by starting an annual Scholarships program. The criteria required will be a rising Junior or Senior student in financial need, merit-based, who has chosen a major in Computer Science. We intend for this to be an annual gift given to the school who will find the right student who matches our criteria. It is also our intention to provide a starting advantage, with no guarantees, for our scholarship students to apply for our annual internship program. We believe that if we can impact a student from their undergraduate degree through internship to possibly their first career employment opportunity, it can only be positive.”
