The East Carolina University Alumni Association (ECUAA) Scholarship
The ECU Alumni Association scholarships (ECUAA) are annually awarded to students who are currently enrolled at East Carolina University as full-time undergraduates (including freshmen) or graduate students who have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher. Scholarship applications are evaluated based on: demonstrated leadership, service/volunteerism, and recommendation (one signed letter that speaks to the applicant’s involvement in University/community related extracurricular activities or employment).
Applications must be complete and recommendation letters must be uploaded by midnight on January 31, annually.
The ECUAA scholarship program develops of a closer interactive relationship with its scholars. Understanding the interests and goals of each scholar has enabled ECUAA staff to select topics for a speaker series, connect scholars in touch with alumni (and non-alumni) in their field of interest, and build a community among the group. The integration into ECUAA events and activities has also offer the scholars a meaningful way to meet, interact, and thank participants and sponsors of our events for their generous support. ECUAA scholars are required to participate in the established program as stated in the ECUAA Scholarship Agreement.
