The Daisy Carson Latham Memorial Scholarship

There shall be two scholarships awarded annually in the amount of $3,000 each (awarded during the students’ final year or last semester).

Student must be living in one of the following counties: Beaufort, Bertie, Camden, Carteret, Clinton City, Craven, Cumberland, Dare, Duplin, Edenton-Chowan, Edgecombe, Elizabeth City/Pasquotank, Franklin, Gates, Granville, Greene, Halifax, Harnett, Hertford, Hyde, Johnston, Jones, Lee, Lenoir, Martin, Nash/Rocky Mount, Northampton, Onslow, Pamlico, Pitt, Roanoke Rapids, Sampson, Tyrrell, Vance, Washington, Weldon City, Wayne and Wilson.

Enrolled in the Partnership Teach program.

Full time or part time students majoring in Teacher Education.

First preference to students with intention of teaching in North Carolina.

Other criteria deemed appropriate by the college scholarship selection committee in accordance with College and University guidelines.
