The Department of History Graduate Diversity Scholarship

This fund provides scholarship support to eligible applicants admitted to one of the Department of History’s graduate programs in History or Maritime Studies who hold (or will be completing) a BA or BS in history, anthropology, or a related field from a Minority Serving Institution as defined by the U.S. Department of the Interior. Preference will be given to those students that earned their degrees from the eligible Minority Serving Institutions in North Carolina including Elizabeth City State University, Fayetteville State University, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina Central University, University of North Carolina – Pembroke, and Winston-Salem State University.
