The Grover and Jessie Rodgers Scholarship in Archeology

The Grover and Jessie Rodgers Scholarship in Archaeology was established at East Carolina University from the estate of Tillie V. Rodgers in honor of her parents Grover and Jessie Rodgers. Offered by the Department of Anthropology, the purpose of the scholarship is to assist declared anthropology majors concentrating in archaeology and is used towards the cost of field school offered by East Carolina University. Applicants should be sure to note their unique academic achievements, their extracurricular contributions to the program, their participation in the ECU Undergraduate or Graduate Research/Creative Activity Week or similar extramural scholarly venues, tutoring experience, outreach activities, and any other Anthropology-related activities that enhance their profile. Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
