The Dr. Katherine Bray Strickland Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree in the Brody School of Medicine who demonstrates financial need and intends to provide primary care to underserved individuals in rural North Carolina upon graduation. First preference will be to students from one of the following North Carolina counties: Anson, Beaufort, Bertie, Bladen, Caswell, Cherokee, Chowan, Columbus, Cumberland, Duplin, Edgecombe, Gates, Graham, Greene, Halifax, Hertford, Hoke, Hyde, Jones, Lenoir, Martin, Mitchell, Nash, Northampton, Onslow, Pasquotank, Pitt, Richmond, Robeson, Rockingham, Rutherford, Sampson, Scotland, Tyrrell, Vance, Warren, Washington, Wayne, Wilkes, and Wilson.
