The Dr. Robert W. Wilson Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship supports students who are enrolled in the MD program in the Brody School of Medicine with self-identified physical or mental disabilities. The selected student must demonstrate his or her commitment to overcoming challenges and succeeding in spite of them by writing a short paragraph of 250-300 words. First preference is to student that is a resident of one of the following eastern North Carolina counties: Beaufort, Bertie, Camden, Carteret, Chowan, Craven, Currituck, Dare, Duplin, Edgecombe, Gates, Green, Halifax, Hertford, Hyde, Jones, Lenoir, Martin, Nash, Northampton, Onslow, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Pitt, Tyrrell, Washington, Wayne, or Wilson. Second preference is to student with an interest in psychiatry.
