The Dr. Chia-yu Li Graduate Scholarship

This Department of Chemistry scholarship is awarded to a graduate student who exemplifies outstanding achievement in all areas (academics, research, teaching, and departmental citizenship).

Eligibility:
1. The student must have at least a 3.0 GPA in the lecture courses while enrolled in the ECU Graduate Chemistry Program.
2. The student must have successfully completed their thesis and/or dissertation proposal while in the ECU Chemistry Graduate Program.
3. Recommendation from a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry.

  1. This scholarship requires that each applicant provide one (1) letter of reference. This letter should come from a faculty member within your major that can speak to your skills, abilities, activities, and/or community involvement. You should make sure the reference provider is willing to provide you a reference letter and then let them know to expect an email invitation to provide the reference. It is your responsibility to make sure they file the letter prior to the scholarship deadline.
