The Papalas Scholarship in Classical Studies

This scholarship is offered by the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures within the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences. It is intended for students with a declared major in Foreign Languages and Literatures with a concentration in Classical Studies. Students are required to submit a letter describing their Classics-related achievements from the past year. Applicants are encouraged to note their unique academic achievements, their extracurricular contributions to the program, their participation in the ECU Undergraduate Research/Creative Activity Week or similar extramural scholarly venues, tutoring experiences, outreach activities, and any other Classics-related activities that enhance their profile.
