The Batton-Boyette Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled full time undergrad in the College of Education and majoring in elementary education. Minimum 3.0 GPA. First preference is given to an outstanding graduate of Smithfield-Selma High School. Second preference shall be given to a student from Johnston County. If no qualified applicants, then third preference is a high school student from eastern North Carolina. Must show a demonstrated commitment to education. Award is subject to availability.
