The Mary Elizabeth Austin Yancey Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a full-time undergraduate student who intends or who has declared a major in the College of Education. The selection committee will award the scholarship based on academic ability (at least a 2.5 GPA), academic major, preference for residence in and graduate of a Granville County, NC high school, demonstrated financial need, and any other criteria deemed appropriate by the Selection Committee. If there is not a qualified candidate from Granville County, second preference will be to award to a student from Vance county. Award is subject to availability.
