The Miriam Perry Saunders Education Scholarship (R)

This is a College of Education scholarship for transfer students that has established preferences. First preference is a Pitt Community College transfer student (Education major) with the highest incoming GPA in college transfer courses. Second preference is a Pitt Community College transfer student (Education major) with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Third Preference is a transfer student from eastern North Carolina with a minimum 3.0 GPA majoring in Education. Fourth preference is a NC transfer student with a 3.0 minimum GPA majoring in Education. This scholarship can be maintained as long as the student keeps a 3.0 GPA annually, stays in the major, and graduates in no greater than 3 years.
