The Don and Linda Lassiter Scholarship (COE)

The scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student. The Scholarship Selection Committee (Committee) will award the scholarship based upon the following criteria in order of priority:

First preference will be given to first-generation college students from Johnston County, North Carolina. If there are no qualified candidates from Johnston County, otherwise qualified students from eastern North Carolina can be considered for the scholarship Demonstrated financial need as determined by the Committee At least a 2.5 minimum projected or actual GPA

The scholarship may be renewed through the recipient’s senior year upon continued availability of funds and maintenance of the scholarship eligibility criteria. Award is subject to availability.
