The Haywood M. Phthisic, Sr. and Margaret Chappell Phthisic Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a Brody School of Medicine student in good academic standing, who has, or is about to receive, a BS degree from East Carolina University. Preference is given (in the following order) to financial need, academic merit, and citizenship (volunteering and meaningful participation in the eastern NC medical community.)
