The Senator John East Scholarship in Political Science Endowment

This scholarship is awarded to upper-level undergraduate students who are full time Political Science majors. Selection criteria, in order of priority, are: NC resident with first preference given to candidates from eastern NC, academic merit with a minimum overall and Political Science GPA of 3.0, demonstrated interest in public service and/or potential to be elected to public office, and demonstrated good character and leadership abilities.
