The James Bryant Kirkland, Jr. and Evelyn Johnson Kirkland Middle Grades Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student who is a junior or senior, has at least a 2.5 GPA and is majoring in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in either language arts, math, or science. To qualify for this scholarship, students must be from Robeson County (first preference), Sampson County (second preference) or one of the following Eastern North Carolina counties in the order listed below: Robeson, Sampson, Columbus, Bladen, Pender, Cumberland, Harnett, Duplin, Johnston, New Hanover, Brunswick, Onslow, Scotland, Wayne, Lenoir, Craven, Carteret, Jones, Greene, Pamlico and Pitt. Award is subject to availability.
