The Tanya Johnson McDowell & Riley Floyd Endowed Scholarship in Speech Pathology
This scholarship is awarded to a graduate student who is pursuing a master’s degree in the clinical practice of speech-language pathology in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSDI) at ECU. The recipient will be selected based on financial need, GPA, a recommendation from a member of the faculty, and a demonstrated excellence in speech-language pathology during a faculty interview. The faculty interview will be scheduled and conducted following review of the student’s application.

- This scholarship requires that each applicant provide one (1) letter of reference. This letter should come from a faculty member within your major that can speak to your skills, abilities, activities, and/or community involvement. You should make sure the reference provider is willing to provide you a reference letter and then let them know to expect an email invitation to provide the reference. It is your responsibility to make sure they file the letter prior to the scholarship deadline.
