The Captain Christopher Cash Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to students that have declared a major in the College of Health and Human Performance (including the university’s ROTC programs). (A declared major means the recipient cannot be a first year college student.) Must be a full time or part time undergraduate or graduate student with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation and a 100 word personal statement addressing “What Freedom Means To Me.”

  2. This scholarship requires two (2) letters of recommendation. These letters should come from someone that can speak to your skills, abilities, activities, and/or community involvement. You should make the reference provider aware that an email invitation to provide the recommendation will be forthcoming and make sure they file the letter prior to the scholarship deadline.
