The E. G. Barlow Scholarship

This College of Nursing scholarship is awarded to a student enrolled in the College of Nursing based on academic merit. 1st preference given to a student from Warren County. Other counties of preference are: Halifax, Vance, Franklin, Granville, Nash, or Edgecombe counties (IN THAT ORDER). If no otherwise qualified candidates exist, other eastern North Carolina counties may be considered (Bertie, Bladen, Brunswick, Camden, Carteret, Chowan, Columbus, Craven, Cumberland, Currituck, Dare, Duplin, Gates, Greene, Harnett, Hertford, Hoke, Johnston, Jones, Lenoir, Martin, New Hanover, Northampton, Onslow, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Pender, Perquimans, Pitt, Robeson, Scotland, Tyrrell, Washington, Wayne, or Wilson). Decisions may be based on other criteria as determined by selection committee.
