The Louise Metts Lloyd Scholarship

This College of Nursing scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students who are enrolled full-time in the nursing program or a graduate student enrolled in the Nurse Practitioner program, preference given to the Nurse Practitioner candidate further preference will be given to candidates interested in Public Health. Preference will also be given to those Nurse Practitioners who are non-traditional students. The student should reside in the following counties in order of preference: Jones, Harnett, Craven, Pamlico, New Hanover and Onslow. If none of the following counties fit – a student from eastern NC or western VA (preference to Pulaski and Carroll counties in VA) can be selected by the committee.
